What textures do you need most?

Question:

What textures should we release next?

Simply vote for one of the choices below or suggest a new category.

nice wood be grass, mud

nice wood be grass, mud etc...

Grass

Grass would be very useful. So often there's a need for grass in archviz illustrations, and it's very hard to get hold of decent grass.

metal?

the problem with metal is that it's really more about reflection/specularity/etc not to mention renderer. if you guys could give us ground or brick maps with some sweet displacement maps to boot--now that'd be pretty fab!

What about copper? that

What about copper?
that would be nice.

Bricks

Bricks, bricks, bricks.

Please, please, please.

Seamless, beautifully bumped bricks with a variety of bonds and a subtle specular.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Future Textures

I would say grass textures, ground and metal textures could be find in many sources, but you will not find a really good and large cobblestone or roof textures in www. There were some nice pavement textures in volume 1. More of these would be lovely.

roof tiles with displacement

roof tiles with displacement map and grass with the same kind of map

All sort of clothing would

All sort of clothing would be great. wool, jeans, silk, leather, ... .

Do you have glass textures? or does anyone know good settings with 3d Max to make a realistic curtain wall glass for night/day?

Furnier von Wuzelholz wäre hilfreich!!

the problem with metal is that it's really more about reflection/specularity/etc not to mention renderer. He pretty much said it all. What we need from you guys are BRICK, BRICK, BRICK. And then vegetation.

Next Textures

Now that you've pretty much covered wood, I would like to see more brick textures. Fabric textures would be handy too, especially carpets for displacement mapping.

Everything

I'm pretty sure that no matter what you release next, it'll be sold out.
You proved that your textures are very high in quality, and they are very very good.
So, if you ask me, I would like to see pretty much everything from the list above Smile
Especially Roofing tiles, Vegetation, Bricks, Fabric/Leather....

Textured Colored Stain Glass

Your products are great, but I didn't see any stain/textured/colored glass.

Add glass textures.

Consumer product finishes

I'd like to see realistic plastic finishes that are to Mold-tech specs.

I'd also like to have countertop materials, i.e., marble and granite.

Also Various brushed finishes of stainless steel.

i voted for urban grounds,

i voted for urban grounds, especially european ones. most existing textures are meant for the american market. sidewalks, paving for public spaces, asphalt and stonework streetgrounds, also with traffic markings...

Metal & Grass

Kindly release all kind of metals & vegetation

Stone Slabs

I don't find anywhere textures for large slabs of stones... granite or marbles... as for making renders with wall like the Barcelona Pavillion. tiling is abundant but someone needs to go to a stone merchant one of these days and do a photo session of their larse size stone slabs. 3m by 2m textures will sufice I guess. I will surelly use them for rendering my high-end residential bathrooms...

Glass Textures

I agree glass textures are a big collection to be missing
think of glass bricks, glass pavement lights, cast glass, crown glass (in old windows), mirror glass, milky glass, stained glass, coloured glass, etc. etc.

LEAVES!

LEAVES, GRASS AND TREES TEXTURE FOR NEW CATEGORY!! o.o

Marble

And very good marble-textures? I can't find them...

vegetation would be nice,

vegetation would be nice, hedges, trees, shrubbery, perennials.

Next textures

Marbles would be needed as a nice extension of your beautiful collection.

Wall!!!

Wall, wall, wall please!!

Others...

Floor tiles (ceramic), grass, sand

HDRIs & Backgrounds

Interessant wäre auch hochauflösende HDRIs (auch für das Studio) und Hintergründe für Natur-, Architektur- und Produktions-Renderings.

"root" wood

Hi

Is impossible find root textures, this kind of material is used in luxury furniture, but is very difficult to find HR files.
For the next CD! Smile please!

Thanks

Wood floors and floor/wall tiles would be great

Precious wood veneers

For the use in high-end furniture, I would appreciate figured wood veneers such as:
Für die Herstellung von hochwertigen Möbeln würde ich folgende Maser Furnier schätzen:
- Walnut burl/Nussbaum-Maser
- Flamed maple/Geflammter Ahorn
- Quilted maple/Gemuschelter Ahorn
- Amboina burl/Amboina Maser
...
...

Thank you/Danke

Hi Vinyl/lino/marmoleum

Hi

Vinyl/lino/marmoleum flooring would be good - really need this for commercial projects e.g. hospitals, elderly care, sometimes schools, manufacturers like vitra or forbo.

Thanks.
